DFB-Pokal: FC Bayern Draws Osnabrück, BVB Heads to Hamburg

Bundesliga referee Deniz Aytekin drew the first-round matches of the DFB-Pokal at the Football Museum in Dortmund. According to Welt, defending champions FC Bayern Munich will face Osnabrück, who have been promoted to the 2. Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund will travel to a yet-to-be-named Hamburg club.

The draw produced attractive matchups for the opening round. FC Bayern start the new season as the cup winners from the previous campaign. BVB must play away in Hamburg, with the exact opponent still to be determined.
