The Russian-installed occupation head of Kherson region, Saldo, said that the Ukrainian army struck bridges over the North Crimean Canal near Preobrazhenka and Myrne, a road bridge on the Perekop–Armiansk route, and a bridge near the settlement of Stavky on the night of June 11. According to him, experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage.

Saldo also published a map showing two alternative routes to Armiansk via the so-called ‘Novorossia’ highway. On June 9, he had already reported damage to the Chonhar bridge, one of two road connections from mainland Ukraine to the occupied Crimean peninsula.
