The reform meeting of the black-red coalition leaders with representatives of business associations and trade unions concluded on Tuesday at the Chancellery in Berlin. As Deutschlandfunk reports, the participants agreed to continue the talks. No concrete results or decisions were initially announced.
Among those attending the meeting were Friedrich Merz (CDU), Vice Chancellor and SPD leader Lars Klingbeil, as well as leading representatives of trade unions and employer associations. The round was intended as a starting point for closer coordination on economic and social policy issues. Further meetings are to follow.
