German Minister Johann Wadephul (CDU) has warned of the foreign policy consequences if the AfD were to be included in a government. He issued the warning during the Stresemann Lecture, as reported by Deutschlandfunk.
Wadephul stressed the importance of a reliable foreign policy for Germany’s role in the world. AfD participation in government could jeopardize this credibility, the minister said.
