Ukrainian forces struck strategically important port complexes in the Temryuk district of Russia’s Krasnodar region with long-range drones overnight Friday. The target was the Taman Peninsula on the Sea of Azov, according to the Kyiv Post, citing independent military observers and Telegram channels such as Exilenova+, ASTRA, and Crimean Wind.

Regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev confirmed the attack, officially stating that falling drone debris ignited a fire at a port terminal. He reported one fatality and three injuries. Nearly 100 emergency personnel and more than 30 vehicles were deployed to fight the blaze, including units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Independent observers reported direct hits on the grounds of the Tamanneftegas liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) terminal and adjacent transport infrastructure. The terminal has a capacity of 28,800 cubic meters and is considered the largest transshipment point for liquefied hydrocarbons in southern Russia. A second fire broke out at a truck parking lot and nearby warehouses.

According to independent military experts, the infrastructure hit is used to supply Russian occupation forces. The attack is part of Ukraine’s ongoing campaign against militarily relevant targets deep inside Russian territory.
