Ukraine strikes largest gas terminal in southern Russia

Ukrainian special forces attacked the Tamannaftogaz oil and gas terminal in Krasnodar Krai. Drones hit five tanks and two loading facilities, Ukrainska Pravda reported, citing the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

The attack was carried out by fighters from the SBU’s Alpha special operations center, together with the Special Operations Forces (SSO) and the Military Intelligence Service (HUR). Tamannaftogaz terminal in Krasnodar Krai is considered the largest liquefied hydrocarbon transshipment complex in southern Russia.

According to the SBU, the drones hit five oil product tanks in the tank farm and two loading racks. Fires also spread to the truck parking area and warehouse infrastructure. In addition, Russian air defense positions protecting the facility were struck.
