Ukraine has again struck industrial facilities on Russian territory. In the city of Novomoskovsk in the Tula region, about 395 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, the Azot chemical plant caught fire. The independent Telegram channel Exilenova Plus reported that the facility went up in flames after the attacks. Official confirmation from Russian authorities is still pending.

Local officials spoke of fallen drone debris that damaged the plant. Russia rarely officially confirms successful Ukrainian drone strikes. No information on possible damage or casualties was initially released.

In parallel with the attacks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced intensive talks with partner countries in the coming weeks. In a video address, he said the discussions would focus on new sanctions against Russia, more support for Ukraine—especially air defense and long-range weapons—as well as agreements that provide for investments in Ukrainian drone production in exchange for the delivery of finished drones.
