According to 24tv, citing Nova Poshta Jewhen Tafijtschuk, the destroyed terminal was the first sorting center of its kind in Ukraine. It was equipped with state-of-the-art sorting technology from the Dutch company Vanderlande.
Tafijtschuk said all employees are safe. Despite the destruction, operations continue through backup systems. The damaged infrastructure is to be rebuilt and modernized. “This terminal is not just about money invested. It embodies the knowledge, experience, ambitions, and belief of thousands of people that Ukrainian companies can create world-class facilities even during war,” the CEO wrote.
The attack on the night of June 15 was part of another massive Russian missile assault on Ukraine. Nova Poshta is the country’s largest private postal service, operating a dense network of branches.
