As Tagesspiegel reports, the city administration of Potsdam and the previous operator Independent Living have agreed to end their cooperation by mutual consent on August 31, 2026. Club 18 in the Am Stern residential area had been closed after threats against employees became known.
The city administration now wants to determine the exact extent of the incidents. A new operator for the youth club is to be found. The decision came after violence allegations and security concerns raised by social workers.
