US Vice President JD Vance said that numerous points of the agreement negotiated with Iran still need to be clarified, as the Guardian reports. This comes amid growing skepticism among Senate Republicans, who are pressing the White House to disclose further information.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) announced on Sunday is intended to end the war in Iran. The ceremonial signing is scheduled for Friday in Geneva. The core of the agreement is the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the US naval blockade in the region, coupled with financial incentives for Iran if it meets certain conditions.

Senate Republicans expressed concern about the terms of the deal and questioned in particular the inclusion of financial aid for Tehran. They are demanding comprehensive briefings from the White House before the agreement is finalized.
