Ukrainian drones attacked the Moscow region on June 16, targeting an oil refinery of the Russian occupiers, according to 24tv. Ukrainian military commentator Madjar commented on the strike, emphasizing it serves to weaken the enemy’s economy.

Madjar, commander of the unit “Birds of the SBS,” said the attack was a response to Russian shelling of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra on the night of June 15. A Russian drone then struck the Dormition Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site. According to Madjar, one of the drones used bore the inscription: “The Lavra will stand for centuries! Moscow will fall!”

The refinery attack was carried out by the SBS unit together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Military Intelligence (HUR). Madjar described the action as “pragmatic punishment without emotions” and added: “You will live in fear every moment, you worms.”
