US Donald Trump threatened Iran with new attacks if the country does not show cooperation. Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, the G7 states reaffirmed the right to unimpeded passage as a foundation of international trade. They called for negotiations on a comprehensive follow-up agreement to address the threats posed by Iran and to ensure that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon.
