The statement was released after a meeting between Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, Friedrich Merz and President Volodymyr Zelensky. In it, they commit to further military and defense support for Ukraine. At the same time, they condemn the ongoing Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians, including the use of Oreshnik missiles and drone strikes on NATO territory.
The leaders stressed the need to expand the production of interceptor missiles and jointly develop defense systems against ballistic missiles and deep-strike capabilities. They supported the proposal for direct dialogue between Ukraine and Russia with the participation of the US and Europe.
