Russian drone attack on Balakliia: one dead, several injured

A Russian drone strike on the city of Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast killed a 56-year-old woman and injured a 21-year-old woman who suffered acute stress shock, according to regional military administration head Oleh Syniehubov.

Russian forces attacked the city of Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast with drones, killing a 56-year-old woman, according to regional military administration head Oleh Syniehubov. A 21-year-old woman suffered acute stress shock.

According to Syniehubov, the strikes damaged four private houses, a shop, and an outbuilding. Fires broke out at the impact sites and were extinguished by emergency services. Authorities are working to clear the damage.
