Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Digital Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said he has approached the UK to secure funding under the ERA initiative (Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine) and to use interest from frozen Russian state assets for Ukraine’s defense. Fedorov announced this on Telegram.

The meeting focused on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense. Russian attacks with ballistic missiles and glide bombs are among the biggest challenges for Ukraine. Deliveries of interceptor missiles under the PURL initiative are therefore crucial, Fedorov said.

The minister named three unchanged priorities: air defense, long-range weapons, and Ukrainian drones. The talks with the UK are part of ongoing efforts to bolster Ukraine’s defenses.
