Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, total Russian personnel losses amount to approximately 1,414,820 soldiers, according to Ukrainian military data. The figures are updated daily by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU) and are based on its own reconnaissance data.
In addition to personnel losses, the Ukrainian military reports the downing of a Russian combat aircraft. The figures cannot be independently verified but are considered a reliable estimate from the Ukrainian side.
The daily loss reports are part of the regular briefing by the Ukrainian General Staff on the status of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.
