The minibus was operating as private passenger transport and, according to police, was carrying 15 passengers plus the driver. The collision occurred in the morning; the exact circumstances remain unclear.
The impact killed one person and injured five occupants. Police partially closed the roadway towards Odesa and diverted traffic. Motorists are advised to account for disruptions when planning their routes.
Investigators and patrol officers are at the scene to determine the cause of the accident. The Oblast police have launched an investigation.
