In the Tver region, a fire broke out at a reservoir of the Tver oil base following the repelling of a drone attack, Governor Vitaly Korolyov told Russian news agencies. Firefighters were still working to extinguish the blaze. At the same time, an oil depot went up in flames in the southern Russian region of Stavropol.
Governor Vladimir Vladimirov later acknowledged that the flames had reached the fuel reservoirs. For security reasons, adjacent streets had to be evacuated. Russian oil tankers also came under drone attack again: Rostov region Governor Yuri Slyusar reported two strikes on ships in the Sea of Azov, whose crews were evacuated.
