Ukraine's General Staff confirmed attacks on Russian military targets in Crimea and the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions on August 1, according to Kyiv Post.

The strikes targeted, among other things, a storage facility for unmanned surface vessels near Chornomorske, which was used to prepare and maintain naval drones in the Black Sea. Ukrainian troops also hit the Syvash railway bridge near Chonhar, which connects Crimea with the Kherson region, as well as another railway bridge near Vladyslavivka.

According to the General Staff, both bridges serve as key supply routes for personnel, weapons, and provisions between the peninsula and southern Ukraine. In addition, a Black Sea Fleet electronic intelligence unit in Sevastopol and a repair base near Pervomaiske were hit.

Outside Crimea, the military reported strikes on a logistics depot near Podove in the Kherson region and a UAV storage facility near Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region. The operations on August 1 follow a series of earlier strikes against Russian infrastructure in the area.
