Tung Ma, a 27-year-old engineer, lives in Bad Wörishofen and has set up a basement apartment in his parents' townhouse after moving from Munich. Despite countless applications and an excellent degree, he faces a high number of rejections. His search for a suitable position takes him through various companies and industries, yet success eludes him.
Ma expresses that he feels trapped in a self-made cage while remaining optimistic about finding his dream job. "The main thing is to get out," he says about his weekly volleyball training, which he regularly attends despite the different life situations of the other participants.
The current job market situation shows that even highly qualified graduates struggle to find employment. This raises questions about the requirements and expectations placed on applicants, especially in a changing work environment.
The challenges Ma faces reflect the reality for many young professionals who, despite good qualifications, are fighting for their professional future. For many, the search for a suitable job remains a significant hurdle.
