When taking part in a car parade in Germany, certain rules must be observed to ensure the safety of everyone involved. For example, it is forbidden to sit on the roof or hood of the car while driving. Leaning out of windows or sunroofs is also not allowed, to avoid endangering pedestrians and other road users.
The Offenburg Police Headquarters emphasizes that car parades are tolerated as an expression of football enthusiasm, as long as public order is maintained. Anyone who violates these rules must expect consequences. Additionally, car parades should be avoided in areas with many pedestrians.
Fan items on the car are allowed, as long as they do not obstruct the driver’s view. Unnecessary honking and noise in the late evening hours are also not permitted, to respect residents’ night rest. The police appeal to fans to show consideration for other road users.
