Jan-Lennard Struff has surprisingly reached the second round of the 2026 French Open. The 34-year-old from Warstein defeated Alexander Bublik in his first-round match, as reported by Sportschau.
Struff, currently ranked 41st in the world, put in a strong performance against the 19th-seeded Bublik. The victory was his first main-draw win in Paris since 2021.
In the second round, Struff will face the winner of the match between Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo and France’s Corentin Moutet.
