Alexander Zverev has reached the semifinals of the French Open. The Hamburg native defeated Spanish tennis youngster Rafael Jodar in the quarterfinals, as reported by NDR. With Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz already out of the tournament, two top favorites have been eliminated.
Zverev is now chasing his first Grand Slam title. The 28-year-old showed strong form and gave the 19-year-old Jodar no chance. In the semifinals, he could face rising Brazilian star Joao Fonseca.
