The district council (BVV) of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg voted against the ‘WoHo’ construction project on Thursday. The Greens’ project envisioned a 100-meter-tall timber building with social housing and commercial spaces.
The Greens managed to postpone the vote at the last second. A final decision remains open for now. The Left Party and SPD factions had previously signaled their rejection.
