The countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup is underway. The tournament, featuring 48 teams for the first time, will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. According to Kicker, Iran has scrapped its planned World Cup camp in the US state of Arizona and moved it to Mexico.
Canada, meanwhile, has extended Jesse Marsch’s contract. The American took over the Canadian national team in May 2024 and will now lead the side into the joint World Cup on home soil.
