Since the early morning of August 27, Kyiv’s air defense has repeatedly repelled Russian drones. According to the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) and the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA), a four-story residential building in the Podilskyi district was hit in the evening. Rescue services extinguished a fire on the building’s roof.
Due to the prolonged air raid alert, the metro had to adjust its operations. On the green line, trains ran only between the stations “Syrets” and “Zvirynetska” as well as “Osokorky” and “Chervonyi Khutir”. On the red line, traffic toward the center was possible from “Akademmistechko” to “Teatralna”, and toward the outskirts from “Arsenalna” to “Akademmistechko”. In the Desnjanskyj district, debris fell onto the roof of a dormitory.
On the same day, Russian occupiers also attacked warehouses and distribution centers in the Kyiv region. Among others, a Roshen warehouse in Tschubynske was destroyed, and a Comfy distribution center was damaged. The distribution center of the toy retailer “House of Toys” was also destroyed.
