Italian journalist Ugo Poletti, a regular commentator for the Kyiv Post, has been awarded the Medal of the Order for the Defense of Ukraine. Poletti, who also serves as editor-in-chief of the Odesa Journal, has spent years documenting life, culture, and the brutal reality of the Russian invasion from the Ukrainian port city.
