The girl was admitted to St. Nicholas Hospital around 5:00 p.m., according to doctors. She is in the intensive care unit and under round-the-clock cardiac monitoring, said anesthesiologist Polina Ustiyanovych. Her condition is stable, with no visible burn marks.

The storm caused massive damage across the city. Mayor Sadovyi reported that 30 trees were uprooted, nine of them in the central Halytskyi district alone. In the Shevchenko district, seven trees fell, damaging an administrative building and seven cars. One tree fell on a trolleybus, and another tore down the overhead line.

Several tram lines were temporarily suspended; service later resumed. Strong winds also tore off part of the roof of the Shevchenko district administration and shattered windows. Cleanup work is set to begin after the storm passes.

Ukraine’s weather service warns of further thunderstorms, gusts of up to 20 meters per second, and hail up to 19 millimeters in diameter for the evening.
