Lionel Scaloni has led the Argentine national team since 2018, guiding it to a World Cup title and two Copa América triumphs. His 100th match as coach will be a World Cup round-of-32 fixture against Cape Verde.
In his first 99 games, Scaloni recorded 72 wins, 18 draws and only nine defeats.
Scaloni, however, wants to focus on the opponent and warned against Cape Verde, which has performed strongly in its previous matches. “We have to respect them — and we do,” Scaloni said.
