One of the men stated in the video that he is an active soldier on leave and will return to the front after it ends. Another promised to serve in the Ukrainian Armed Forces after appropriate training. According to Petrivskyi, the participants underwent an “educational discussion.”
The incident occurred on the evening of July 8, when a crowd in Lviv surrounded, overturned, and damaged a TCC service vehicle. According to police and the TCC, the conflict was triggered by a check of military documents of a man born in 1996. The man had been wanted since June 12 for violating conscription regulations.
Petrivskyi announced that he would also seek out those who tore a soldier’s uniform off his body — they face harsher punishment. Another apology video was released by the commander of the 2nd Assault Battalion of the 3rd Assault Brigade, Dmytro “Slip” Kukharchuk. The man seen in the video admitted his involvement in damaging the TCC vehicle and expressed readiness to accept any punishment.
