Two people were killed and nine others injured, including an infant, in a massive Russian air strike on Oblast overnight on May 24. Damage was recorded in all districts, the regional military administration said.

The Russian army launched a massive air strike on Oblast overnight on May 24. According to the regional military administration (OWA), damage was recorded in all districts of the region. Numerous explosions were reported, and authorities documented the aftermath.

Two men were killed in the attack — one in Bucha district, one in Obukhiv district. The number of injured rose to nine, including a girl under one year old. Most casualties were in Fastiv district: five people were hit there, two women were hospitalized, and the others were treated on site.

Residential houses, storage and utility buildings were damaged across the region. In Bila Tserkva (Bila Tserkva district), three garages of a cooperative burned down. In the village of Pukhivka (Brovary district), drone debris fell on open ground — according to initial findings, there were no casualties or major destruction. The prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Rescue and cleanup efforts are ongoing.
