Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, has threatened Ukraine with new reprisals after recent attacks, stating that ‘there are no more rules’ in dealing with Kyiv. The statement came amid increasing Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory.

Medvedev said all methods of warfare are now permitted — with one exception: the intentional killing of civilians. The Hague Conventions on the rules of war have lost their validity, the politician cynically declared. The threats coincided with reports of possible camps for Russian prisoners of war in the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine. On the evening of June 19, a Russian drone struck a logistics building in Zaporizhzhia, injuring at least ten people, including a police officer. Earlier that morning, Russian troops attacked Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region — an eight-year-old girl was killed, and another woman was wounded.
