The attack damaged more than 40 private houses and a warehouse, according to local authorities. Nine people were injured. Rescue teams are still clearing debris and working to identify the victim.
The strike occurred on the night of June 19, when Russian forces again targeted the city with KAB glide bombs. The Kholodnohirskyi district, where the fragments were found, lies in western Kharkiv and has been repeatedly hit by Russian attacks.
