Russian forces launched 949 attacks on 44 settlements in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region over the past day, killing two civilians and wounding three others, according to the regional military administration.

Russian forces carried out 949 attacks on 44 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported on Telegram. Two people were killed and three others wounded.

The attacks included 18 airstrikes targeting Malokaterynivka, Orikhiv, and Huliaipole, among others. Russian troops also deployed 715 drones, mostly FPV types, which struck the city of Zaporizhzhia and other areas. Authorities recorded 68 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.

The Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts were particularly affected. In the village of Shchaslyve, a 75-year-old woman was wounded by a guided airstrike, and in Kushuhum, a 77-year-old man was injured when a drone damaged his home. The Ukrainian military administration also documented 249 artillery strikes on numerous villages.
