The German government is inviting the public to an open day on Sunday. Citizens can take a look behind the scenes of the government district in Berlin. The program includes guided tours, discussions, and insights into the work of the ministries.

Parallel to the open day, the National Veterans’ Day is taking place. The event honors the service of soldiers in the Bundeswehr. Veterans’ Day was first observed in 2024 and has been held annually since then.

EuroPulse reported on June 17, 2026, about Manuela Schwesig’s criticism of the federal government’s nursing care reform plans (https://europulse.today/schwesig-nennt-pflegereform-plaene-unmenschlich/).
