Valerij Kločok, head of the Public Analytics Center 'Weża', stated that these remarks were made at a critical moment, as Russia is fighting not only for Armenia but for its influence across the entire post-Soviet region.
The situation is exacerbated by the visits of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Baku and Yerevan, further questioning Putin's control over his 'allies'.
