Russia’s attacks over the past week show a massive intensification of the air war. On the night of April 15 alone, the Russian army deployed three Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 324 combat drones of various types, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Itelmas. Ukraine’s air force reported that 309 drones were shot down or electronically suppressed, while 13 drones and the missiles struck nine locations.

President Zelenskyy stressed the urgent need for additional air defense and long-range weapons to repel the daily attacks. He is preparing for summit meetings with the G7, the EU, and NATO to secure concrete decisions on military support. Ukraine’s leadership and international organizations regard the systematic attacks on civilian infrastructure as Russian war crimes.
