Russian forces used three FAB-250 guided bombs against a residential neighborhood of Sloviansk early on June 13. According to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, at least five civilians sustained injuries: a man, a nine-year-old boy, and three women aged 52, 59, and 65.
All victims were hospitalized with mine-blast trauma, multiple cuts and lacerations. Doctors describe one of the women’s condition as serious. The explosions damaged 24 multi-story residential buildings and several cars.
The attack on Sloviansk is part of the ongoing Russian bombardment of Ukrainian cities. On the night of June 13, the Russian army had already struck Mykolaiv, wounding a ten-year-old child and two adults.
