The Russian army attacked the city of Sumy in northeastern Ukraine with two drones overnight Monday. One drone hit an apartment building in the Kovpakivskyi district, damaging a balcony. The second drone struck the city center, damaging a non-residential building.

According to the Sumy military administration, three people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl. The teenager was hospitalized, along with an injured woman. Windows and balconies in nearby residential buildings were destroyed. The condition of the injured is still being assessed.

The authorities emphasized that the attacks on civilian facilities are part of a deliberate Russian tactic to hinder mobilization. The territorial recruitment centers in Sumy continued their work despite the attack.
