Russian troops use toxic substances against Ukrainian soldiers

Ukrainian military personnel have documented another war crime committed by Russian troops involving the use of toxic substances. This was announced on Monday, May 11, by the 225th Separate Assault Regiment.

The 225th Separate Assault Regiment stated that a group of Ukrainian soldiers launched a counteroffensive, reclaiming enemy positions. Following this action, Russian occupiers conducted an FPV drone attack, dropping an unknown toxic substance. Fortunately, the soldiers of the 225th Regiment managed to leave their bunker and retreat to another location.

The incidents were documented, and all available evidence has been submitted to the relevant authorities to be included in the list of further war crimes committed by the Russians. The press office of the 225th Regiment did not provide details about the exact location of the incident; however, the soldiers regularly publish reports about their operations in the Zaporizhzhia region on social media.
