Ukrainska Pravda reports that SBU counterintelligence caught the suspect “red-handed.” The young man coordinated the attack on the night of May 24, which injured 86 people and killed two.

According to the SBU, the suspect was recruited via Telegram channels with promises of quick money. He conducted reconnaissance near a Ministry of Defense facility and documented the damage after the attack.

The agency charges him with high treason under martial law. He is in pretrial detention without the possibility of bail.
