Painting is setting strong accents this art spring: Frankfurt gallerists around Fahrgasse have teamed up for a worthwhile “Spring View,” as FAZ reports. The format focuses on the art dealers in the neighborhood and presents numerous discoveries in the field of figurative painting at the openings.
At Galerie Greulich, painter Sarah Geppert presents herself for the first time in Frankfurt – including her work “Wäschekörbe” (1996). Established artists such as Janos Schaab and Johannes Rochhausen are also represented with new works. Schaab, known for lines and grid dots, now shows architectures that make his painting appear almost abstract. Rochhausen presents a dense selection of charcoal drawings for the first time at Kirsten Leuenroth.
The exhibitions run until early summer. “Spring View” offers an overview of the current Frankfurt art scene.
