The Ukrainian authorities allow certain households to apply for a housing subsidy for the summer, which is the non-heating period. The amount of the summer subsidy is calculated as the difference between the tariff for non-heated housing costs and the mandatory payment amount for the household.
Additionally, experts from the Pension Fund consider the average monthly total income of households during the relevant periods. This ensures that only the most needy households benefit from the subsidies.
