Syrskyi Approves Concept for Missile Forces Until 2030

Ukraine's commander-in-chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has approved a concept for the development of missile forces and artillery until 2030, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

The concept sets strategic priorities for Ukraine’s missile forces and artillery. It focuses on domestic production of artillery systems, while Soviet calibers are to be phased out gradually.

Another priority is building a modern artillery reconnaissance system. The concept also envisions developing domestic ballistic and cruise missiles with a range of up to 2,000 kilometers.
