Ukrainian drones struck the Saratov region, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan on Wednesday, July 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced. The distances from the front line to the targeted facilities are about 800, 1,400, and 1,500 kilometers. The Voronezh region, about 300 kilometers from the border, was also attacked.

Zelenskyy thanked the soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Special Operations Forces (SSO), and the intelligence services for their precision. The Saratov oil refinery and an oil refinery in Tatarstan were hit by the SSO.
