Ukraine has requested an emergency session of the UN Security Council after another wave of heavy Russian attacks. Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha announced this on Monday on platform X. Ukraine is also demanding a meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).
In recent days, Russia has again fired numerous missiles and drones at Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure. According to official figures, several civilians were killed and many more injured. The Ukrainian air force reported shooting down some of the projectiles.
