Ukraine is expanding its international cooperation on drone production. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine has signed agreements with three more EU states on joint drone manufacturing. The names of the countries were not initially disclosed.
The agreements are part of Ukraine’s strategy to strengthen its own defense industry in the fight against Russia’s war of aggression. Drones play an increasingly central role on the battlefield – both for reconnaissance and for strikes on Russian positions and logistics.
