Ukrainian forces attacked an oil depot in the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk again overnight on Saturday. Falling drone debris sparked a fire that also engulfed several port buildings, according to local governor Andrei Kravchenko on Telegram. Two people were injured. The oil industry facilities in Novorossiysk are crucial for Russia’s war economy and have been targeted by Ukrainian drones multiple times before.

Meanwhile, the death toll from a Ukrainian strike in Russian-occupied Luhansk rose to 11. Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry said more bodies were recovered from the rubble of a student dormitory in the town of Starobilsk. In total, 48 people were injured and ten students remain missing. Ukraine’s General Staff said the strike targeted a headquarters of a Russian military unit and was not directed against civilians.

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed it shot down 348 Ukrainian drones overnight, including over the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Volgograd, Perm, Moscow, Rostov regions and the annexed Crimea. The figure cannot be independently verified. Ukraine’s Air Force reported 124 Russian drone attacks, of which 102 were intercepted. Combat drone strikes at nine locations and falling debris at five locations were recorded.
