Ukrainian drones hit hangars with fighter jets in Crimea

Ukrainian drones struck seven hangars housing Su-30SM, Su-30 and Su-24 fighter jets. Preliminary reports indicate at least seven jets were destroyed or damaged.

Saky and Hwardijske are key military bases for the Russian occupation forces in Crimea. Russian fighter jets regularly take off from these bases to carry out attacks on Ukraine.

The Saky airfield was already attacked on July 1. At that time, five strikes on hangars with Su-30 and Su-30SN fighter jets were confirmed.
