According to Alexander Kharitonov, head of the Krasnoarmeysk district, the fire broke out from falling drone debris. Three fuel tanks were ablaze, as reported by the Russian channel Exilenova+. Authorities closed a nearby highway between the settlements of Poltavskaya and Trudobelikovsky.

On June 16, the same depot was targeted by a drone attack that also caused a fire and temporary road closures. The depot comprises about 28 fuel tanks and supplies parts of the Krasnodar region and the neighboring Republic of Adygea, according to the Telegram channel Astra. Independent verification of these reports is pending.

Separately, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Russian air defenses intercepted two drones over the capital overnight. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that a total of 269 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian regions last night.
